Our Parent Support & Education Groups meets every Tuesday (North Metro), Wednedsay (South Metro) & every other Friday (South Metro) at 7:00 pm. They are free of charge to any parent who is concerned about their child's drug use, even if they don't have a child enrolled in our program.
-
The support group meetings are guided by our family coordinator and parents who have overcome the challenges related to parenting a teenage drug abuser. It is a nurturing, accepting, and dynamic group with real answers.
-
The parents and staff at FWC understand the frustration, fear, guilt, and anger that you may be experiencing, as the parent of a child who has abused drugs.
-
We know what it's like, because we've been there before. No one will criticize, blame or question you.
Best of all, we have answers that work! How do we know they work? Because they have worked for us!

In addition to our regular parent meetings, parents have the option of attending our parent education series, "The Revolutionary Parent", which meets at 7:00 every other Tuesday & Wedneday nights. We cover a variety of topics including:
-
Use, Abuse & Dependence in Adolescents An overview of the use, abuse, dependence continuum, how young people become drug-dependent, why they are at greater risk and what can be done about it.

Parents learn to regain control of the home while providing a loving and safe environment.
If you are interested in attending our Parent Groups, give us a call at 303.665.3965 or just show up any Tuesday or Wednesday night.
